Holiday decorations add a festive vibe that can’t help but put you in a joyous mood. The color. The sparkle. The lights. It’s an annual tradition that I look forward to every year. Lucky for me, I’m in the position to capture this holiday magic for LondonHouse Chicago so we can share the spirit on social media.
Below is a collection of photos I took for LondonHouse Chicago highlighting the holiday decor they feature at their hotel. The decorations are put up right around Thanksgiving to entertain and delight guests for the holiday months. The upside down tree in the Bridges Lobby Bar is a favorite of mine. I love how they literally flip the script on a traditional tree. The grandiose Christmas tree in the lobby located right off Michigan Avenue is not to be missed. The way the tree lights up that space and reflects onto the massive, domed, gold leaf ceiling panels is magical.
A trip to the rooftop is always a good idea when you’re visiting LondonHouse. The summer months are popular for obvious reasons (sunshine, cocktails, views), but the winter months offer something quite breathtaking, as well. The pine trees with twinkle lights make for a truly Instagrammable moment. And if you’re lucky enough to be up there when it snows, you can capture some mesmerizing ‘snokeh’, like this. So, without further ado, here is the collection of photos I created to capture the holiday decor at LondonHouse Chicago.
