As the summer turns to fall and the temperatures begin to drop, it’s natural to gravitate towards warm comfort foods. It was a real joy to learn that LondonHouse Chicago was bringing back their Afternoon Tea service for fall. Like most things during these unpredictable times, the Afternoon Tea service had been put on hold during the height of the pandemic. And now, it’s BACK!
Offered daily in the Bridges Lobby Bar, located on the second floor of the hotel with stunning views of the Chicago River and famous bridges. The tea service begins with a selection of Rare Tea Cellars and Sparrow Coffee teas; and a basket of fresh scones and breads with accouterments. The 3 tiered tower follows with savory and sweet bites crafted by our culinary and pastry teams.
The tea service is a set menu designed by Executive Chef Elizabeth Sweeney and Executive Pastry Chef Thomas Gorczyca. I highly recommend a visit! Click here for reservations.
I visited on a weekday to capture content for use on their social media channels. A variety of content was created, including video clips for reels, but the majority of the focus was on still photography. Below is a gallery of images created during my visit.
