Helicopter adventures over Chicago…
Shooting from a moving helicopter, 2,000 feet in the air, above the city, at night, is HARD! My previous heli flights over Chicago were all during the day. I took for granted that when it’s bright outside, and your settings are right, it’s relatively easy to get a sharp shot. But when the sun goes down, and the magic of blue hour rolls in, the chances of capturing a sharp shot becomes infinitely more challenging.
Below are some successful attempts and some not so successful. Regardless of the degree of sharpness, they are all special to me. After all, failure is proof that you’re trying…
