Summer in Chicago is a special time. The city waterways come alive with boats, kayaks, and architectural river cruises. It’s also the start of rooftop season! My client I|O Godfrey is a unique venue that offers a rooftop experience all year round — with their fabulous sliding glass rooftop — but summer is an especially amazing time of year to visit.
I recently photographed a number of new dishes and drinks they have on the menu this summer. They are bright, colorful, and fresh. It was a pleasure to capture. And I happen to luck out and get an unseasonably warm and sunny day at the end of April.
