Every brand has a story to tell, and creative story telling is a great way to engage your followers. Generating effective and engaging content takes practice and persistence. Captivating photographs are a great way to engage users through social media platforms.
When I set out to create lifestyle photography for a brand it is a mix of authentic and staged. The situations and interactions I am shooting could actually happen in real life, but when a client needs a wide variety of shots captured in a short amount of time it’s necessary to encourage the moments to happen. With that goal in mind, during any given photoshoot session, I create a variety of opportunities that generate real-life images, paying very close attention to lighting and backgrounds. I also step back and observe my surroundings, similar to a documentary photographer, in order to capture truly organic moments that require zero direction on my part. This approach results in a great mix of content for use across a variety of digital platforms, such as blogs, websites, and social media.
